I have this gun I was thinking about selling but I'm not sure of it's value. Just looking for a ballpark guess, I know I can't really find out without someone actually seeing it. It is a Weatherby Mark V made in Germany "varmintmaster" in .224 WBY Mag., it is in excellent shape with a Leupold 3X9 A.O. scope. I haven't shot it in a while but when I did I reloaded for it. If I remember right I got it to shoot 5 shot groups around 5/8 to 3/4 inches. Is has been called "the walking man's varminter" in some articles I read on it. It doesn't have the heavy barrel, it isn't made to be a bench rest rifle but one to carry around. Thanks for your input.

The rifle should be worth $500 to $700. The Leupold scope could vary between $300 and $500 depending on the model the Vari-X III is at the upper end. In a gun store you might get $500, to a private party, maybe $750.

I can get rid of it for you. Just send it over, and you don't have to worry about it...
A buddy just bought one second hand that was chambered in 300 wby mag. Got a great deal at 600 bucks. With the scope, you should ask between 8-9 hundred easy.
