Default Last weeks predictions/advice came through-what to expect this weekend and next week

In my post last week I predicted that the smaller streams were going to come into shape first and then the mountain rivers were going to come into shape next. I was right.

Fallowing my own advice that's what I did and it paid off. We fished three days and hooked 18 steelhead, landing 10 of them.

Now the rivers are out of shape but it will be the same story as last week, and I'll be doing the same thing with the exception of about four manditory/flooded river, days off starting today.

For those of you with that itch for a steelhead I don't think anything will be in tommorrow, Sunday is a maybe and something will be fishing on Monday or Tuesday for sure.

Here's an option for the weekend, try trolling in one of the coastal lakes that are planted with re-run steelhead, check with the ODFW to find out the ones that have been planted. Bobber and bait or trolled plugs like Hot Shots, K10 Kwikfish, Wee Warts and Wiggle Warts will work for these fish.

I might be wrong but I don't think you have to tag those fish in the lakes either.
