So what happened to the rest of the fish? Seal get the tail end? It's a two headed mutant ninja fish? It's really a blow up doll?
Looks like a nice one. Guess a few got by the nets.

Re: FISH (PICS)
Ya know it does bug me a bit when pictures are posted like this. So we all speculate that is it a native, hatchery, or just bad photography?
Although I do not agree with the new law that was instilled this year it is still the law and we have to abide by it right. Jennie has also asked us not to post native springer fish pictures right. And now we have these head shots which of course makes us wonder, what happen to the rest of the fish?
Not trying to pick on the CArrots here just pointing out that it certainly enhances suspect practices out there. I would recommend that you all post pictures of the complete fish and if you want to show it is hooked in the mouth then post a seperate head shot.

C&E- I hate to say it but I think you took the bait. A little controversy makes a post grow longer....stays at the top longer....and if all this is real.... will help sell more carrot juice.
By the way, good job on the fish XTC.

Re: Fish (pics)
Catch and Fish I see your point and agree, but will also say I have seen lots of wild fish pic posted by 5-cent and all the fish have been in the water so in this case I know the fish were keepers. Catch and Fish brings up a good point about spring salmon pic's lets see the whole fish, in this case I think they just thought they were great pics and did not give away location. Nice fish by the way

Re: Fish (pics)
Great fish!
With the insinuations thrown out here, do the carrot boys have fish and game convictions that I haven't heard about?
Why would anyone question the legality of the fish they take a picture of? If they are that suspect why would Jennie even allow them to be on the board?
Amazing!

Re: FISH (PICS)
What IS amazing is that we post stories and pictures and certain people dont like it, we hear it from the mods. So now we go 100% the other direction and just post snipets of pics and no stories and certian people still want to throw stones and guess what we are hearing from the mods.
I know there is nothing that I, or any one of the Carrot Clan can do to make some of you happy. Guess what I dont really care! This is a community and not everyone in a community is going to get along 100% of the time. This is life, we are adults and hopefully all of you understand that. People have different points of view, different beliefs, be a grown up and respect them! If you dont want to look at the posts dont. If you dont have something nice or supportive to say dont say anything at all. You dont see me dumping all over your posts. If you have some kind of question about the leagality of a post send me an email or give me a call!
That is what IS AMAZING and if you cant see that then you cant see the nose on your own face

Re: FISH (PICS)
WORD!
I shot ZAQ a pm about the lack of story and he explained it to me. Sucky that not everyone can get along. I've always been the guy to get along with the guys that others don't....does that make sense...yeah, anywho, keep up the good catchin'...and if you have time please give us a few details....like if you were trolling, hogged up...that would be super awesome. I regret to this day not taking you guys up on those open seats last year. I could have learned something...but already had plans. Can't wait til you guys need an extra person again.
Why do people get upset: Because they are jelous that you get to fish when they work. You catch fish when they don't...and you've got a secret scent....they don't.

Way to go I don't have alot of posts here, but I've been on the fringes for a while. You carrot guys always have entertaining stories, and I like the pics, keep em coming. If some people are jealous of you catching fish, that is their problem
Keep catching, and keep posting. Bring back the stories guys I like em.

Re: FISH (PICS)
My own opinion?
Carrot Crew wants to uphold their catching reputation...for whatever reasons.
"Carrot Crew" should also understand that by not including the whole fish in the pic they leave themselves open to speculation by alot of other Ifishers as to whether their catches are legal or not, or are the same fish in other "Carrot Crew" member's fish pics.
After the last two years of seeing their smiling mugs holding up clipped fish...one has to wonder why all of a sudden the "crucial" part of the fish isn't in the pic.
Makes me think about it.

Re: Fish (pics)
Nice pics, nice posts!!! However a poster decides what to post, its the poster's choice, as long as it's within the AUP policy. I see nothing out of bounds here.
It's also the reader's choice what he reads and skips.
Great job [edited by mods] clan, and anyone else who catches a fish and posts, and those that post techniques too without a pic! I just wish I had the time to fish more, but the job kind of puts a damper on it, but I see some light in April. I had to turn down my next door neighbor last night to go sturgeon fishing today, I had a quarterly half day meeting to attend today. He caught 3 keepers on Tuesday, one was 58" and he thought close to 100 pounds, but had to turn them loose. I've not even gone sturgeon fishing ever. Man, I the salmon/sturgeon flu was really working this morning, but I'm here at work, and have to support my family. I had to turn someone else down this week too.
I'm looking forward to putting some [orange scent] to the test to see if it stands up to Marie's Scents. Time will tell. I'll post the results, just like anything else out there.
After all, ALL the pics out there are of only HALF the fish . We can't post in 360 or 3-D too well on ifish unless you have hi-tech equipment!!! This is true of this post also, just the front half of the fish. Whether you post the front half, back half, left side, or right side of the fish, you can't get the whole thing in two dimensional pictures anyway.

shoot why whine about a half of a fish in a pic seems kind of childish to me.
I would rather know how they can afford to fish so much, when I have to go to work, then where the other half the fish is  lol

(C&E responds: my nose is plain and visable Shane. Appreciate the personal attack. Perhaps You should learn how to use the PM or e-mail to express your discountent and frustration. I could care less if you like me or not cause I am not here as part of the CARROT CHEERLEADER SQUAD. That said, I still appreciate your pictures except for the most current half fish ones and hope you continue to post photos here. Nothing better than seeing diner going home with someone. I even liked you pictures of the filets all dressed up and ready for heat. Any ways I have said my piece on this subject and hold no hard feelings against any of the CARROT CREW at all. To bad you took this so personally Shane. Must have been a long week for you too.)

Bernie, don't waste your time. It (they) are not worth it. Best you can do is don't even click on the thread.
It ain't like we have never seen a fish before although it's apparent many have not.

No guilt what so ever. If you say they are dead then that's cool with me, I have no reason to doubt your word.
And to the rest of you that think this is lame to even bring up to bad. The intent was not to inflame. Sorry.

Some folks turn to TV soap opera's for their drama. Fishermen turn to the most recent carrot post for theirs!
Bobby, Zaq, Shane, & Chris, keep those pics coming. But we miss the amusing stories that usually come along with them.

Re: Fish (pics)
Carrot Crew, ignore the whining that some do on the board and do what you do best and show some pics and give some stories. I sure do enjoy reading them.

Amen,
Keep em coming guys. Lately my work has been keeping me so busy that alot of my fishing is being done vicariously through people like you.

Re: Fish (pics)
Personally I think the fish was just posing for a new calendar called "salmon in coolers" ( a la women in waders). I can see it now..."hi i'm Sally Salmon and my measurements are 36"x26". I have yellow eyes and enjoy long swims, and spending time with friends on the BBQ."
Sorry, just trying to lighten it up a bit.

Re: Fish (pics)
I would just like to thank the people that complain about the Carrot's stories for ruining it for the rest of us. Some of us who can't get out to fish all the time at least like the ability to read a good fishing story or two.
I really appreciate your contribution to the site, whoever you are.

Re: Fish (pics)
If I show a picture of a car travelling through and intersection, but you couldn't see the light, would you assume they were running a red??? NO! It's nothing more than what you see.
..In this case, it's a beautiful fish. Whether it's a native or a hatchery, who gives a <rat's behind> IT'S FISHING!!!
The Carrot Crew have posted more pics and posts than I know what to do with, and I love looking at and reading each post they ever write.
For you others that whine about wanting to see if it was a nate or hatchery, GROW UP! WHO CARES!
Just enjoy the posts, pics, companionship, techniques, and GRAB A KLEENEX to wipe away your tears.
KEEP 'EM COMING!!!...IN Fact, I would ask others to post similar pictures and just enjoy the abstract art of picture taking, as well as fishing! :lurk:
