Crazy steelhead fishing!!!!
WOW!!!! That's all I can say. In the last five days I've fished the coast four times and we have caught two Chinook and 36 steelhead! Limits every day.
Saturday we hooked eight fish-five steelhead and three chinook, landing a beautiful chinook and 3 steelhead. All on plugs.
On Monday it was just unbeleivable. We hooked between 25 and 30 fish landing one chrome chinook and 16 steelhead! We were drift fishing eggs or shrimp.
Tuesday was slower but not slow by any means. We hooked around 14 fish and landed five nice hatchery steelhies. All on eggs.
Today was another awesome day. With me and one client having a freindly competition we hooked 17 and landed 12. We came up with a tie at six each. We even got a brood stock today. We caught half on shrimp and half on eggs.
