I'm an ARPC member. It's a pretty good club. The rifle range "only" goes out to 250 yards or so, but that's plenty for almost all hunters to practice. They also allow you to use targets such as clay pigeons & milk jugs filled w/ water (as long as you clean up!) which many ranges don't. They also have a trap range & bunch of pistol bays seperate from the rifle range, & a lot of people shoot full auto there. The website, if you haven't seen it already, is
arpc.info. They have a lot of information up about the different activities.
There are a couple of other ranges I know of nearby - The Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks of the USA has a 600 yard range in the Wren / King's Valley area, & there's an Oregon National Guard range just east of EE Wilson. The Elks range is probably members only, but if you were thinking of joining anyway, it might work out. I called the National Guard once, & they said their range isn't open to the public. Joining might cut into your personal life & hunting time.
