Default This past week and the week to come

Fishing has been pretty spotty lately on the coast but with this new shot of rain it shoule break wide open!

I've been spending time bouncing between fishing the bay and bobber fishing tide water. We have been hooking one or two per day with the exception of one day we hooked nine and landed eight of them while bobber fishing tide water. Early in the week while the tides were soft we were fishing out at the jaws, one day we hooked three but landed two. That day we had a double and only saw five other fish hooked! Other days it was only one fish. Two out of the last three days we have hooked a fish in the Mamaloose area at high slack....

Mothing to get excited about but at least were getting some fish. Presure has really dropped off in the bay. Only half a dozen boats fishing the upper bay per day.

All this is going to change though. We were getting penty of rain down there today and I'm sure the rivers will be comming up. As I drove home the Wilson was still low but it was picking up some color and most all of the small creeks were muddy.

I've very hopefull about this next week and we should see some great fishing coming up once the rivers drop back into shape.
