Default Update

It's been a while since I've been home so I've been away from computer access.

Since my last post I've been fishing four rivers and Tillamook Bay and we've been having good success with many different methods including herring, spinners, bobbers, Kwikfish and backbouncing.

This last rain we just got really brought in a nice shot of fish to the rivers but it was short lived, or at least the high water was. It dropped just about as fast as it came up. I pitty the weekend crowd that came down expecting loads of fish to be in after this rain, they should have been there Thursday, it was hot then!

Yesterday the water was already down clear but in our first two passes we had three take downs and two fish I was pumped. That was it, not another bite all day, even after we drifted the river for a second time.

I'm looking forward to some more banner days as soon as we get another good river rise as there are still plenty of fish out in the bay and ocean.
