Default This weeks report

I only fished three days this week but did all right.

Monday I fished Tillamook with a momentary hok-up on a spinner in the morning and then in the afternoon we had a takedown on herring but this time instead of being two slow and week on the hookset the guy pounced on the rod just as it was going down and left the fish with a free lunch. We covered from the picket fence out into the ocean.

Tuesday I decided to hit Nehalem and it was good for us. We finished the day with 2 30# chinook, 1 chinok jack one hatchery silver and released one un-clipped silver. We also lost a silver and had another rod go down but some one was too quick on the draw. Our success came on herring and we fished from the town of Nehalem out to the jetty and had fish in each spot.

My last trip of the week was yesterday and we fished the Columbia and caught 2 chinook, 1 keeper sturgeon and lost two other salmon. All on Kwikfish, even the strugeon.
