Default Be there the last hour of out going tide!

For the third day in a row we couldn't keep the fish off durring the last hour of outgoing between the church and Chinook, Wa.

I started the day off by having a chance to sleep in. I met my clients Bill and his wife Linda and their two friends Glenn and Heidi from Nevada at 8:30.

Within ten munutes we were fishing and within another ten we hada triple. For an hour we were getting bit as fast as I could bait a hook. We hooked many and put four in the box, released three chinook and lost one of the biggest coho (and hatchery) I have ever seen. glen just didn't move fast enough to keep that fish from running under the boat and breaking off. I was sick.

It was such a relaxed day on the water with this group, they gave me know presure and were not gready for fish. When we had nine in the boat they said they had enough to go home so we turned and trolled back to Hammond
and picked up a couple more.

We ended the day around 1:30 with 11 kept and five released.

It was a nice relaxing day with great weather and great company to end my Astoria season.
