Default Pearl Clown Corkies

I came a cross some of these, white with three pink dots on each side. I got them cheap and wanted to know how many people use them with eggs/shrimp tails?

My main question is when should I use them summer or winter steelhead? Also what water color works best for these?....Thanks Ross

Yes, they work. One of the four or five colors I use the most. They will work for both winter and summer fish, with or without bait. I typically use them with a small tuft of pink or pale orange yarn and either a small gob of eggs or a sandshrimp tail.

Thanks Blacktail,

Do they work better in colored or clear water?

I use them in moderate to lower flows. When fishing higher, colored water I usually go to something bigger and brighter with some action like a Spin & Glo.

I tried out a variation of that corkie with good sucess this summer it was glow in the dark with pnk spots and seemed to work real good on the upper willamette.

the water was on the low side and probably 4 ft clearity.

I got one rigged up on my steelie rod right now I know I can get a winter on it.
