I started out this morning at 6:30 and we trolled three passes and had six take downs and landed three up river brights. At nine o'clock my clients (who didn't have proper clothing) said, "Lets go, we've had enough, we're cold and wet and you got us some fish."
I saw about a dozen fish caught while out there, several of them being chinook. The rain was coming down and the wind was at least a steady 20 with white caps forming when we headed in.
At the dock we had the only fish the checker had seen so far but at Sturgeon Pauls I saw one guide boat with three chinok and six silvers and another guide boat with three or four chinook and one or two silvers.
Another note: My landlord went down to S.S. Beach and saw ten silvers caught in the fifteen minutes he was there.
