Default Pretty good start for my Buoy 10 kick off.

I started my Buoy 10 season off this weekend.

Saturday we hooked five and landed three in the first couple hours of the morning up near the bridge. Two silvers and one summer steelhead in the box. Then it was pretty slow for me the rest of the morning but there was a good bite above the bridge for the first hour or so of outgoing. Latter around 11 or so we hooked two more fish down off Chinook but lost them both. That was it. No bite ever really took off out at 10.

We hooked our fish 18 to 22 pulls.

Today (Sunday) was much better.

I started daround the church and trolled with the tide up to the bridge first thing. From an hour before high to an hour after we caught a 26 pound chinook and two silvers. These were taken at 18 pulls.

We worked this area all morning and then about an hour or two before low we caught two more chinook, 24 and 16 pounders.

At noon the fog had lifted and the buoy report sounded good so we headed out to the big pond. In an hour we released three and put five more silvers in the box and were headed in with our limit. Depth didn't matter out there, we caught them from next to the boat down to 22 pulls.

Tomorrow, another day...........
