After a week of fun in the sun at Lake Billy Chinook playing water sports, it was back down to Astoria for a limit of Sturgeon today.
We caught 4 keepers and 11 shakers in a little over two hours, but that was after fishing 5 hours without a bite.
We caught our fish on the sand flats in 8 to 10 feet of water. The fish didn't seem to prefer one bait over the other. We caught half on Sand Shrimp and half on Anchovies.
We are going to try fishing the ocean tomorrow if we can get out.
