Default Keeping the bullheads off....

I found one really good way to keep the bullheads off.

It was amazing, I found that if you don't have bait on your hook they will not bother it!

But really, I have been using mostly sand shrimp with some anchovies but shrimp are working best for me. After running the hook through the bait about three times and then placing it sticking out the head of the bait I will wrap it up like a mummy with streachy Kwikfish thread. If they are really bad I have been also wrapping the bait with that egg sack mesh.

Thay still get the bait but at least it slows them down a bit, some times long enough to get a sturgeon.

Of course I've found that if there are a lot of sturgeon the bullheads aren't around as much.

I still have some seats open for Astoria sturgeon durring the last week of July and a have a very few salmon seats open for August and early September. If any of you want to get in on some great action book a trip.
