Alaskan report
My dad fished a week and a half ago up in Sitka, Alaska with some guides that I used to work with in that area. They fished three days and limited out by 9 every morning with 25 to 30# chinook and then got there limit of halibut in the afternoon as well as getting two big ling cod. My dad got the biggest halibut at 115#. Sounds like it's as good there as it was when I fished it.
