I had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with "Giz" from the Ifish board today.
Giz, my budy John and myself fished a South West Washington river today for some pretty good success. My Clackamas techniques (and eggs)work up here too!
After fishing the first couple of hours in one popular hole with several bites but no hookups we started moving around and covering some water, it paid off.
We ended up hooking seven, landing five springers, with several other real good "chompers" that we didn't get.
I saw about eight other fish caught and heard of a few more.
It was a real nice "fun day" off.
