Default crabs, get em\' while the gettin's good! pic

I thought I'd post a crab picture, you just don't see many on Ifish.
We got these at hammond on sunday. Notice the fat
hog daddy on the right. Limits were not a problem, we dropped the pots in 28 to 34; of water. Shad was the "go to" bait for us.
B22 area. Get out there before the commercial pots
clean it out.
Good crabbin',
greenbutt

I would love to go crabbing there but is it possible in a drift boat.Just worried about how long it would take to get to a good spot.

greenbuttskunk, what were you in? I was out there on Sunday also. We were in a black Jetcraft. I think we got back to the ramp around 11:30 with our 3 limits.

R.R. I wouldn't recommend going out of Hammond in a drift boat unless it was a windless day. Even then you never know when the wind will kick up.

We didn't stay to cook and clean our crabs at Hammond. We ended up going to East Basin launch to get out of the wind. I might of talked to you though, you look familiar.
