Name this river...
Just thought it would be fun to posts some pictures and see who could name the river... Maybe Jennie could turn this into a contest or something?
Can you name this river, what hole? Sorry for the image quality but my scanner is not the best.

Re: Name this river...
Miss B Haven is the winner even though he kind of has a big advantage....
It is the Kilchis just below the park on the big hole that changes every year with the high water. We caught this bright baby on a simple birdie corkie combo bouncing with a 2 oz slinky.

Re: Name this river...
Advantage heck! Just cause I saw ya post the answer before ya pulled it back ?
I actually thought it looked a lot like one of my favorite holes just above the park. Never actually fished the downstrean side of the park. I woulda been close though.
I should of gone with my first gut feel before I really thought about it an got it wrong with the Wilson at Cedar Creek.
If only you could go back and edit your lottery numbers picks after the draw!

It's the Wilson about 500 yards below Jone's Creek Bridge. Am I close?

Re: Name this river...
Jokester- nope that was my first post/guess. Isn't that about where Cedar creek hole is?
He posted the answer then decided to pull it and let some more folks guess (I guess?). I saw him post the answer though before it was pulled.
Does look a lot like Cedar Creek hole but the terrain isn't that steep on the North side is it?

Looks to me like either Fish Creek, Fish River, or Lost Creek, Lost River, Lost Lake. I just can't make it out. Do you have any TWO's. No!! I know GO FISH. I figure there is a million Fish or Lost water ways I had a shot at it.

Re: Name this river...
Sorry it took so long to get back, Gun Rod Bow basically got it, Main Salmon in a low water year at the mouth of Sheep Cr. or maybe Bargamin, can't remember, such a long float. I was fishing for cutts, lots of eager football size fish taking dries.
I figured Team Moose Drool would have been all over this one.
Wallowa and Minam, ahh my home water. Good guesses but if you look at the terrain a bit closer you don't see any Ponderosa.
Who's next??? More pix! !!!
