Early Steelhead (pic)
Nice little hatchery hen caught Saturday lower Wilson on pink pearl corkie bankfishing. I think this is the earliest steelhead I have caught in a lot of years. Did anyone else connect with steelhead this weekend? Hopefully it will be another great catching year like the last few.

Re: Early Steelhead (pic)
Nice fish First Light. I took "Pops" out Saturday morning and he landed a nice early winter on a pink/white jig.
Here is a pic:

Geeze ... from one frenzy to the next without a breather! Is this an exciting part of the country for fishing, or what?

Re: Early Steelhead (pic)
Very Nice...
Went to the NW Steelheaders Meeting Thursday night and the biologist that spoke said there were 16 fish collected at the 3 Rivers hatchery just that day alone...
Great to see these early ones...
Beautiful pictures

Re: Early Steelhead (pic)
Grandpa...that is a picture worth framing! Is it just me or is that fish (along with the first picture) glowing in the dark?

Re: Early Steelhead (pic)
Yes, both it and me were glowing! It was a beautiful hatchery fish. Went back yesterday morning, but no luck, but I did see some pictures of fish which had been caught.
