Default Worthwhile Debate

As a relative newcommer to ifish I've been a little surprised at the recent spate of flamming, hurt feelings and resentments....
Lets turn our attention and energy to a more worthwhile debate....
What's you favorite tackle, marine, outdoors store... who has the best equipment ... prices.. and expertise... who's staffed the best????
The big three that I think of in Oregon are Fishermans Marine, GI Joe's and newcommer Sportmans warehouse... Any that I'm missing??? Any smaller jems out there not to be missed?
This aught to get the focus back on fishing and meritous dissagreements.

FishFreak,
While your intentions are good with this post and topic it is one that has lots of screen time many, many times on the board.
Click on the search button and type in any of the big name tackle stores and a multitude of posts will appear.
And I like Bob's

For those of us that live in the more remote parts of Oregon BiMart is hard to beat. If they don't have it in stock they will special order it for you.

Tonto,
Another choice for longview is Manchesters. Not a huge inventory but better than wally world and better suits salmon, steelhead, sturgeon.

Bob's! 11th and Hudson in Longview, Wa.

Went there a couple hours ago and bought me an ajustment cap I lost for my Ambassadeur and a couple new bobbers and off to the Elocoman I went.

Got there late (4:30 PM) and talked to Darin (hatchery manager) and he had only seen 1 fish all day and the other 2 guys saw natta. :depressed:

Almost bagged it but went down to the high bank hole anyway and knocked out 2 hens in good shape in about 15 minutes on bobber & eggs.

Bob's has the best buyer in the bus. and it reflects on their inventory.

Dano

PS> You should of been there fishkiller!
I'll be there in the AM hoping to bang out a couple more quick ones.

If you're into making your own spinners, BC Angling Post in Oregon City. Top notch selection.
