Ever had this happen........(PIC)

Yesterday while fishing with great friends, we net the last fish and my buddy sets the fish down behind the fish box for me to take the plug out like many times before. Well this time the fish really started flopping and bounced right into the rod holder mount which had 9 plugs hanging off it that were used throughout the day. well all I could say was oh .... !!!! this is what happened. It took me 15 minutes to take the plugs out of the fish and the net.

FM, that's the first thime I have heard of this happening. One of my favorite stories is when I hooked a summer steelhead and my partner decided to cast and fish instead of waiting with the net. He hooked a fish on that cast and it turned out to be the same fish. It actually took his eggs while I was fighting it.

I also had that happen one time in Alaska when a Halibut took another bait while I was fighting it.

Every have one jump out of the fish box and back into the river. We netted that fish twice and made sure he would not jump every again.

I still cant believe you posted a pic with your go-to plugs in it. :shocked: . Especially when you made me swear not to tell anyone about "killer" and the girls. Poor killer now hes been exposed for all the world to see. :depressed:

You should have seen what my lab's tail looked like when he taught me not to set Kwikfish in the side rails.........D'OH!

Luckily he is patient and, evidently, has no nerve endings in his tail.
