Metal Head Mayhem (Day 12 of 14)

[Kentucky Hog Hunter]

Here is todays report...

First off, the road was very snowy this morning...The worse I have seen yet in the past 2 weeks...I almost chained them up however the 4x4 worked fine but it took 2 hours to get from Hillsboro to the river...

Todays results... went 2 for 4...One beatiful Nate at the end of the day and one keeper in the box...One of the fish that was crackered off by myself was a big'n... It taught me a lesson after it did a cartwheel out of the water and took a B'line to the tailout... It was awesome having it come out of the water and doing a major tail dance...It was truly a very hot fish...2 fish were hooked on drift gear and the other 2 on Pink/White Maribu Jigs...

All in all another great day spent with my son Jr. Hog Hunter...

2 more days of Metal Head Mayhem and then it is back to work for me...

The final report will come on Sunday...I don't keep a log...It is just a calendar thing with me and I figure whatever the final numbers will be it has been a very productive and awesome 2 weeks...

Like I posted in one of my reports...I have got to spend some real quality time with my son during the holidays and that ultimately is far more satisfying than any number of fish...Although I have to say, I am a major student of the game when it comes to all fishing and I feel I have really paid my dues & practiced my skills to get better at hooking & catching this wonderful specie...

I applaud you for spending some quality time with your son! [img]graemlins/applause.gif[/img] My wife just took our daughter to the airport today to go to California for her second semester of college this morning, as I headed to work. :depressed: Before you know it, the times you spend with your kids diminish.

I've got four beautiful daughters and cherish all moments with them.

Five women in my house, yep I have to get away and fish once in a while, if you know what I mean! :grin: :shocked: [img]graemlins/1zhelp.gif[/img]

Hey back at ya terry..........nice to meet you too (Again). Man it was slow yesterday campared to days before. The water temp dropped 4 degrees to 38 since thursday.
