Was a little high, but lots of fish in now and the level should be coming back down.

Without a weather change it might be a little low by wednesday. Chart looks pretty good as we speak but lower than I like it.

If you don't mind getting up a 430am to get a hole, there are fish to be had. I went 1 for 5 down at Clemens Park, on eggs and a pink pearl corkie.

I'm a late day fisher. Most of the time I get there for the last few hours and it's not too bad.

I drove by the bridge yester at about 1:00 PM and there were 17 rigs parked by the bridge. Drove up by the hatchery to take a look (Im into cheap entertainment) It was zoo up there. There were people everywhere. It amazing any fish even make back to the hatchery. Clemens Park was at capacity, I dont think you could park another car in there. Its out of control over there.

I heard from a local that a land owner who owns a bunch of land and allows people to fish his property is thinking about closing it to access due to one group of guys from the Cottage Grove are leaving thier trash. You may have seen these guys, they are the ones who take lawn chairs to the river and camp on a hole all day long. If you see them straighten them out....

Water is in perfect shape. I bet the fishing would be smoking if you can find a place to fish. I fished some private property yesterday and picked up 2 in the afternoon. Heck even the private property was crowded....

I hate combat fishing and wouold rather not subject myself to those conditions. Problem is the guy I go with is a disabled vet and the access at Clemens are his "stairways to heaven".

Maybe we'll try some spots further downstream.

Willierower, what property were you fishing. I fish private too, just wondering if you fish the same area. I fish above the North Fork bridge, have not been there in a week, but have caught a a lot of fish this year so far.
