Default South Coast ??

I am again heading down to Coos Bay and Coquille for some work this week and want to try my luck fishing. What rivers in the area are fishing now? Are they blown out?

Thanks in advance.

Pretty much every river in the area has steelhead in it. Your best bets from the bank are up the Millicoma rivers or the S.Coos system. Everyone I know right now that fishes are bonking steelies so it shouldn't be very tough for you. Let me know if you need any more info. on that end. As of the river levels, I think the coquille is the only one that's kinda high due to the run off. The rivers I mentioned are all fishable and will probably stay that way with the forcast. It looks like rain, but not enough to blow it out.

No, there isn't anything going on in the slough. Thats a fall fishery. There still are steelhead in the rivers, it's slowing down a little but definitely still there.

the SF of the Coquille is HOT
at least is was today... for those who can fish on a weekday

The river is getting low, but the fish are still there
My uncle ( a guide) hooked 19 landing 13, only had one client in the boat... pretty good day, all on eggs/puff balls.
didn't see many boats!
