Another newbie story
Well I finally registered after lurking for about six months. It took me that long to come up with a fishing story - actually I've got plenty of fishing stories just not many catching stories.
I went to Odell last month with a friend and my 11 yr old son. He was starting to burn out on fishing since we hadn't had too much success. We did OK on Odell and had 10 Kokes between us, but he landed half of them himself. He was thrilled and probably won't let me live it down for some time. It was great to see him excited about fishing, and I think he's got the bug now. I'm taking him to Buoy 10 next weekend and hope he can see what it feels like to catch a salmon.
Nice forum with helpful members. Glad to finally participate.
