Default Chinook landing Monday

I want to put my drift boat out of Chinook landing on Monday. I can't go far. Can anyone recommend by the Sandy, Washougal, or Government Island as the best plaace for Steelies?

Tuna,

For steelhead, shallower water, I'd go up towards the power line island (assuming you have a kicker on the drift boat). It's maybe a mile upriver.

Stay inside of the island, go up a bit past the mouth of the Sandy and then get into the shallower water, 10-15 feet with some current, put out some spinners and see what happens.

You'll have the current with you going back to Chinook Landing when you leave.
