Who's First to Catch and Post 2004 Fish?
Jennie,
You should have a contest who can be the first ifisher to catch AND post a 2004 caught fish.
The pressure is on..........
Will it be a Winter?
Will it be a Gator?
Will it be a SPRINGER! Uh oh, that word again.
Springers, YAHOO!
SKP

Now you done it.
The meat hole at the NF Lewis will be packed with frozen ifisher's at midnight tonight throwing their glo corks to register the first metahead of 2004.
Not me... I'll be where it is nice and warm.
I know, I'm getting to be a real woose in my old age.

It will not be me. Can't even make it out of the driveway this morning without putting the truck in 4x4. Guess it's better to put on a pot of coffe and live to fish another day.

Re: Who's First to Catch and Post 2004 Fish?
It was a cold one out there yesterday, a big thanks goes out to tilla for driving truck and boat in the snow storm .
We were not to excited to be out there when the fish did not seam to be there or not on the bite.
After I landed my first fish we had a little different outlook . I think we will all have on ski glasses next time  .

Re: Who's First to Catch and Post 2004 Fish?
We braved the snow yesterday and went gator fishing as planned. Kodiakfisher had the lucky rod and came home with a nice 43 incher. We measured one other 39..

Re: Who's First to Catch and Post 2004 Fish?
Gee Tilla,
I'm planning on coming over to get my boat at the end of the month. Wanna take me? Heck, I even fish in the snow. Now that time when it was -14, that might have been a little nuts, couldn't even keep my beer thawed. Looks like you had fun, have a great weekend. I'm going to shovel more snow.

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">Hey, that's what it looked like when we were fishing the EF Lewis yesterday.
It snowed on us but that didn't keep the fish from coming out and participating.
Bummer was that all the fish we caught were summers with the exception of maybe one.
About 8 fish total, all on bobbers & Jigs.
Where were all those chrome winters I've been reading about?

Re: Who's First to Catch and Post 2004 Fish?
I have heard that more summer returning fish are being caught on the EF Lewis. The snow fishing is not to bad, it's the fish fight that was hard I could not see my line most of the time and I have hi vis on.
We are carzy, crazy like a fox .

Re: Who's First to Catch and Post 2004 Fish?
No freespool we left at around 2:00 and I am glad we did the roads were not good  . We worked hard for the fish we hooked, three landed, 1 went home, 1 native released and 1 small steelie released.
You better be hard core if you dare go out with tilla
