Default Direction of hook point on spoons ??

I am replacing all my Treble hooks with Siwash on all my spoons and am wondering wich way the point of the hook should be facing. I am using the Steel-Lee spoons. Should the point be on the Convex side or the Concave side, or does it matter.

Thanks Much
CM

Point towards concave side works best for me. I tend to lose fewer spoons to the rootwads and limbs that way.

I used to run them on the convex side, until I read an article by spoon guru Herzog saying to run them on the concave side. Happy with the results since I made the switch.

Dont forget to off set the point from the shank a little and your hook ups to landing ratio will improve too. good luck

Never argue with Herzog.
