Braved the coast passes again on 12-30 (TDY) and had a great day, even though the water is still high!
Here is the first fish landed and kept after I farmed one off minutes before caught on corkies and yarn.
Here is the second fish, as small bright hen caught on corkies and yarn.
Yeah, third fish another small bright hen caught on corkies and yarn...
Fourth fish that just pile drived my corky and yarn! Thanks for takin great pics Spinnerman!
The fifth fish was a crabon copy of the fouth just hit my corkies and yarn hard too and was a little bigger (that is what they all say). He fought hard and came off just as I was tailing it.
So, I landed five fish and lost six fish out this one hole and along comes Eddie with a Bobber and Jig rod all rigged up, I suggested a close cast and look what he found! This fish was 34 inches, and a very, very nice bright hen!
The sixth fish was a nice buck caught on eggs and corkies drift fishing and guided by the yawhoo (jokin Eddie, thanks fer the fish, you are gentelman fisherman) with the nice steelhead in the next picture. This was Eddie's way of payin me back fer the fish that I suggested he catch.
So, now I am 18 steelies and three silvers landed in 7 trips and have only been skunked one day!
Can't wait to whow all those fisheries biologists in Alaska that don't think that there are any fish left in teh Northwest!!!!!
