Re: Anyone else getting snow???
Steady snowfall adds another inch to the 3 on the fencepost, and a layer over the ice from yesterday. This would be Clatskanie hills reporting in. Proud that I made it out and back today. Fished alone on Big creek yesterday afternoon---really lovely water but not skilled enough to coax out the wylie metal head. Took my new to me doggie who promptly took off until the gunshots started. Then we both ran for the car. Then settled down and cast near the bridge and parking lot--eventually the gunfire settled down. Wish folks would sight in at the gun clubs instead of behind a happy fishing hole. New doggie hid his head between his paws and under my skirt. Good thing we don't hunt. E2

Re: Anyone else getting snow???
We've got 1/2 inch already here on Hayden Island (Jantzen Beach) and its showing no signs of slowing down.
It's like a Christmas card around here. The sailboats with their lights still on and a light blanket of snow. Maybe I should go out and take some pictures...

I have a 9 year old son, and a 42 year old wife in hyper mode right now. I'm not expecting much sleep tonight .

In Brightwood (just downstream from the greater Mt. Hood recreational area) frozen precipitation is observable.

We have a lot here in Gresham, I am at my dads, and we have about 3 inches up on this hill. I am going out over the pass tomorrow afternoon, and it will probably be pretty slick and scary!

Anybody wanna come over and have a good ol' snowball fight? The snow we have here, especially the ones on top of cars, are the good 'sticky' type.

It hasn't snowed all morning but it has started back up and is coming down pretty good right now. The forecast says more snow also.

Re: Anyone else getting snow???
Snowed 1-2" last night. Had a bit of rain an hour ago. Looks sunny for right now. Main roads are wet but not in too bad of shape. Side roads slippery and with packed snow/ice.

Re: Anyone else getting snow???
Doesn't look like the boat will make it out of the driveway. We have about five inches here. I hate surge brakes on the trailer at times like this.
