Default Sturgeon fishing :-(

Well this year is going the way last year ended,
I've made three trips since its reopened and have caught nothing but shorts biggest was 39",But on a brighter note I've hooked over 80 fish in the last three trips so at least I'm catching something.I've never caught so many undersize at cape horn without a keeper. We caught 37 today not a keeper in there biggest was appx. 35-36" not even big enough to measure. On the brighter side at least I didn't have to clean anything today but me.

Default Re: Sturgeon fishing :-(

We caught a 45" by Martins Bluff last sunday.
I had inlaws from out of town come down for vacation on the 4th. They were disapointed that the estuary closed early. Several trips out and they only caught 1 keeper.
As of June we have caught 4338 of 12000 sturgeon
