Does any one know the long term effects of the de-iceing agent that the county is spreading on the roads and then drains into the river. [img]graemlins/eek13.gif[/img]

What are they using, calcium chloride? It probably isn't good whatever it is.

It can't be good for much, the news said it could only be applied to dry roadbed. Go figure. If the road is dry why would you apply a de-icing agent?
