Default Sandy River Steel?

I have the rest of the week off and was thinking of hitting a coastal river tomorrow but more snow forecasted for tonight I don't really want to make that drive that early in the morning. Has anybody done well on Sandy River steelhead this year? I know it probably a bit early and a person should probably target the lower river. I got two last spots on my punch card that need to get filled and only one day to do it. Any advise would be appreciated.

I think you'll have more fish in the coastal streams right now, however, I have hooked several fish in the last couple of trips on the Sandy using a #4 Blue Fox. Hike to find em - get away from the crowds!

Spent all day there in a boat today. They weren't showing up on the fish finder, or taking any of the juicy morsels from the varied menu I offered them. Too early, too cold. 37.2 degrees
