We use Suffix for all of our steelhead/mono mainline needs. Still use maxima for leaders. 12 pound suffix is stronger than 10# Max.

Suffix is a lot softer than Max. Much better suiter to spinning reels.

A strong endorsement from the Maxima powered dog.

Mark and the DNA/ Ultragreen dog.

I spooled 3 of my steelhead reels with the Suffix DNA 12 lb this year. I don't have a single complaint so far. I'll put it to the test again in the morning and let you know further results.

I used it last year with out a problem. This summer I switched to P-Line Floroclear and have had good luck with it.

Has anyone else used P-line? Should I go back to suffix ........Ross

Hey QF, I've used the p-line florouclear before and lost three fish in less than thirty minutes. It don't stand any abrasion at all and week nots strenght to. As for the suffix, I have not use it but a few of my fishing buddies like it. I personally like the big game or maxima ug on baitcaster only.

Suffix Dna, Great line, I love the way it handles on my baitcasters, haven't tried it yet on a spinning reel. Buy the bulk spools and it is inexpensive, don't want to say cheap because it is not a 'cheap' line.

I love it. I use it for my main line and leader line. It is easy to see and is strong and also limp. The best line I've used so far.

Ive been using both the DNA and Superior on my spinning reels. So far no problems. I just had to tie different knots then I used with Maxima, The Sufix is super slick and my knots would pull out.

I just bought 2 bulk spools of 12lb Superior in Hi Vis yellow. The stuff is inexpensive.

I've been using Sufix Superior for almost five years now. It is the best line I've ever used. I know of several guides that use it now also. Eangler.com sells it for $6.99 plus shipping.

I've got 12# DNA on my spinning reel. It's better than maxima, but I think I still prefer big game on spinning reels.

I switched to Suffix DNA 12lb on my steelhead spinning rod after trying it on my trout rod this summer.....I can only say good things about this product! Extremely low memory, and smooth as silk.

I have used it too! As a matter of fact I have a spool of 30# on my 13'6" 5-m lamaglass. I use this rod at Bonneville in the fall for keepers and hogs. I have only broke one fish off with this stuff. I have even had it wear through a red plastic slider and a golf-tee bead fighting a oversize. It is a little larger in dia. than Maxima or Big game but it is definately some good stuff. Use it and abuse it!!

Try Suffix Tritanium. I got some from Ollie Damon's in 12# test. Awesome line. Tough and uncredible knot strength. I got 2 steelies the other day on this line. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
