Default Homemade rocket stove for smelting lead/ cooking

My friend showed me a thermal mass heater he installed where his stove had been. I started to research the gasification process and saw the rocket stove.
When I ran out of propane while making leads, I tried making an inground rocket stove and it worked awesome so I thought I would share it.
It works best with smaller pieces of wood(twigs, sticks) but a two by four cut lengthwise in three pieces really gets it kicking once its going.
First, dig a pit and line the floor with bricks.
Next, make a trough(sides-ends)
Stack bricks up the middle of the trough, leaving a chimney on one end and the fuel magazine in the front.
As you start the fire, blow the smoke through the trough till it starts to draft on its own. The wood feeds down on its self as it burns.
My friend heats his entire house for the night with two five foot long pieces of stickers(a 2x4 cut lengthwise) in his thermal mass heater he built.
My rocket stove being in the ground acts like a thermal mass heater by warming the ground around it. I could see it keeping a tent warm in the winter by building the trough under where your sleeping. Single wall stove pipe makes a good trough a well.
Perhaps someone will make one, if so I would dig a pic of it.
Knowledge is power. Mopar to all.

It melted down 70 lbs in about an hour. Works really well with charcoal bricketts. Adding a little air(compressed) makes it hot enough to bend rebar.
