Re: KILCHIS CHROME
Just last week you were going on about how the Kilchis is over published. I just don't get it!
Besides the fact that Bill says it's not true!

Re: KILCHIS CHROME
Ya, I read 'overfishing' and 'overpublicizing'. Hmm,... oh well.

Re: KILCHIS CHROME
I swore I'd never get involved in the back biting that once in while goes on on this board, but this guy is way out of line. I can't stop his running off at the mouth, but I sure think he owes Jenny an apology.
There, now I've broken even that vow!

Re: KILCHIS CHROME
Fishing and catching and giving great info and reports is great. But there is more than that to this post, as I see it....

I love fishing. Period.

Re: KILCHIS CHROME
I'm closing this thread because I believe it to be a false report.
I fished the Kilchis all day yesterday. I caught one chinook before I left, and all of the other boaters complained of slow days. We drifted from our house to 101.
Now, I'm not saying it is impossible that he did so well, but I was at all three takeouts several times that day, and didn't see him, or any boats with more than one fish.
Here is Gooey Bob's post on the Kilchis slide, and you tell me what you think... besides a couple complaints from him that I am over publicizing the Kilchis.
This, off the popular Kilchis River Slide Thread:
The bottom line to 258 posts is mother nature is fed up with OVER FISHING and OVER PUBLICIZING this small river and took care of the problem in her own way !
Of course, you could snag the spawners in the gravel beds... Bill and I just call "phooey"
Giving false reports on ifish is a big no no.

Re: KILCHIS CHROME
If it weren't for the fact that the Kilches was spelled out, I would have guessed this too be a 'zipperlip report' !%#@!
