Rod Building Class Wed 1/14/04

I have had some request for a rod building class recently, and have finally found some time to put on a class. I have room for a couple more people in Wednesdays class. Class runs from 6pm to about 10pm. I will spend some time talking about blanks and components and the tools to build a rod. I will show you how to install a cork handle and reel seat, lay out the guides, tie guides, apply finish, and demonstrate how to tie a butt wrap (ie. diamond and/or chevron). At the end of class you should have enough knowledge to build your own custom rod.
