I'd look at the Optima batteries. They are probably the smallest.

I would not install the battery near any gas tank.

For battery swtiches, West Marine has a good selection.

As part of the safety items on our boat I'm planning on adding a second battery. I would like to find the physically smallest 12 V that will still start the 90HP OB. Suggestions?
2nd Question can this battery in a battery box safely be in the same ventilated cubby as the 3 gal kicker gas tank?
3rd. Reccomendations on switching devices. :whazzup:
