You can get Tuna in oil, can you get Shrimp in oil???

We cant get live Shrimp over here in centrial oregon, so if anyone out there can send some help over here, well it would be great.

One thing that works very well for me is salad shrimp, either in balls like you would make tuna balls or roe sacks, or finding firm ones and using them whole. I've been using them for many years, mainly for steelhead, both summers and winters. Sometimes they can't be beat. Hope this helps. Mike

Mr. A,

Go to Albertsons( and that assumes you live on the South side of town. If not try Freddies or one of the shops on the Westside may have a better selection now that I think about it) and buy a bunch of prawns. Or salad shrimp. Or squid. Fresh is better than frozen. But frozen will work pretty well if thats all you can get.

Just cause ya live in the desert don't mean you have to flyfish.
