Default Metal Head Mayhem Fishing Bender (Day 7 & 8)

Well days 7 & 8 are in the books and boy am I a whipped puppy...

Tomorrow is a day of rest so I may re-introduce myself to my wife and get ready for next weeks continuation of the shock & awe campaign on the N.Coast Metal Heads...

Fishing the last 2 days has not been steller by any means for me however... Only one fish brought home today with 1 released dull spawner...

However, yesterday, Aaron (Jokester) did have a heck of a day hooking fish but he being the conservationist he is allowed them to be free...I will let him elaborate on this if he cares to

Today I had the pleasure of fishing with my buddy "Hogback." Did I mention it was very wet...It was coming down in buckets today... Thanks guys for fishing with a tired and worn out "Hog Hunter."

As I said, tomorrow is a day of rest and Monday will continue the shock & awe campaign for week 2 of Metal Head Mayhem...

Tight Lines All

A beautiful winter scene from Elk Creek today.

A wet "Hog Hunter" with another hatchery beauty...

Well, nothing to really elaborate here. I hooked 6 fish and never landed a gosh darn thing! Each of them giving me a good fight and then "POP" they'd spit the hook! I told KHH that they next one I hooked, I was gonna hand the rod to him and see if he had any better luck than I did landing them  Well, the next one never came and we pulled out about 1:00 and headed for home. I do know why 1 got away thanks to the KHHK (Kentucky Hog Hunter Knot) You'll not live that one down! Thanks again Terry for putting up with me and taking me along! It was nice meeting NWSteelheader (Shawn) on Friday also! We'll have to make it a go after some of those quackers this weekend!
