Default Monroe! Calling you out!

Just got off the phone with Jim....

You and me, Bill... on the river on a rainy, cold, freezing day.

You in your Goretex,

....me in my Exotherms.

Who do you think will freeze out first?

Jen

Even if I used gore-tex (and I only tolerate it in boots and only because Danner uses it), it's not fair chase, Jen...I forfeit willingly.

What, if I might ask, started THAT? Our day in the rain, sleet and hail with Maestro Sir James-EEEEEEE?!!!

I still find it funny to see Exotherms up on a fishing site.

As a scuba diver, I've used Exotherms II's and III's since the early 90's. I put them to the extreme test during my years of "technical diving" to depths of 250 feet, with total decompression time of several hours in the cold, Puget Sound. Never did freeze to death!

I will say that I've compressed my Exotherms down to nothing now. Deep diving will do that.

I will say that when it was really cold, I would wear my "diving underwear" under my waders when out fishing. They did keep me nice and toasty.

If any of you need a good, warm, fullbody undersuit, you can't go wrong with the Exotherm line.

I would be careful here...Jen is a "trained professional" with her custom built Ifish "ROCKITWEAR" and exotherms...sHE'LL WELL OUT YOU....in whatever mm neoprene you're in.

You'll soon figure out she's heating an "air cell" you're heating a "water cell". AS for Gore Tex...well don't make me laugh It's made to "wick" hot moisture AWAY from your body. I believe that's the last thing you want to happen in COLD WET weather. Eat'em up Jen!

Anesthetize me and i wont feel anything
but this is an interesting topic. having guided for 30 years i have watched the syptoms of getting cold and wet.
usually around 2:00 things get real quite [the first symtoms] and then the frequent check of the time.
loretta was an expert at checking everybody out for the correct clothes
she always had extra neoprenes, sweaters ,coats, and raingear, including hats.
getting cold can ruin a trip for everybody so make sure everybody is properly dressed.
