Default Any success on Clack or Sandy?

I haven't seen much lately on the status of the Clackamas Or Sandy Rivers. Has anyone had some recent success on either of these rivers? They are so close to my home, I hate to travel all the way down to the coast.

My Dad and I hit the Clack for a little bit today and hooked into 2, 1 nate and 1 hatchery.

Saw a couple more caught and heard of even more caught today and yesterday.

I think the Steelhead are finally here...

Caught a nice 10 lb Wild Hen this AM at Barton (on the Clackamas). Used Pink and White Jig with West Coast Bobber. Did not see anybody else catch anything. Water was clear, and flow looks good.
Good Luck

Got one at McIver today, about 8lbs or so. I release all I catch (I don't cook), so I forgot to check if it was adipose-impaired or not. The skunk is lifted, and on a jig/float to boot!

My dad and I hit the lower clack this afternoon, didn't turn a thing. We were fishing the water right around high rocks, not the best place on the river but I had to humor the old man!! Andy, were you fishing higher or lower? There were about 8 guys drifting the run right below high rocks but I didn't see anything on the bank. The water looked good, green with about 1.5-2 ft visibility, was really ripping though.

Thanks, I tried to talk Dad into heading up river but he wanted to go Trap shooting so we quit around 2ish. Maybe I will hit it higher one day after work this week.
