Shad Fishing on Friday on Willamette River

Well, after reading all the postings... I caught my first three shad today... I saw a couple dozen shad caught for the morning just upriver where the Clackamas empties into the Willamette...

the one boat that seemed to be landing more fish than the rest were using the green/chartreuse dicknite lures... I was using the red/gold dicknites... I look forward to trying this again... good luck, Craig
