Default Rod Protector - A Tip

Just a tip if you're taking a lot of rods on a long trip (I'm taking my travel trailer to Alaska for 2 months this summer). Purchased a 10' length of lightweight plastic drain pipe from Home Cheapo for $3.50. Cut it in 1/2 and put end caps on each end (press fit). Wrap each 1/2 rod in piece of old sheet or whatever and slide in tube. Handles several rods and works great for most rods up to 9'. If you're taking a $250 custom job I'd put it in a custom container (but I don't have any of those). Hope this is of some value. Good fishin'
