Default Big Creek Access

I fished Big Creek last month--we accessed at the county park. The access seemed very limited not room for many folks to fish. Are there more access points? I think I visited by the hatchery once and it was pretty crowded during salmon season. Thanks. E2

there are some holes down below on the other side of the highway. been up by the hatchery a couple of times this season during the week with plenty of room. but it only takes a couple of poles for it to get crowded.

You guys named all of them except for one - tidewater. Never fished it for steelhead but I have for silvers with success (the store at Knappa can give you detailed directions). As I've mentioned in earlier posts the problem with Big Ck is the limited access. You need the help of the Northwest Steelheaders Club who recently put the Sandy back into the publics hands . I'd say kayak down from the hatchery to the mouth and claim that it's navigable!#@!
