What did you get for Christmas?
Hey, I know all of you want to share some cool things that you got for christmas so this is the area. I still have to go to my grandmas house and open presents, so when you all get online share some things you got.
I will be back in a little while to say what I got...!

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
I got Bill some new hip waders.
I got steelhead flies, pliers, a new tackle box, pretty glittery and pink clown corkies, new slinkies and lead, boat candy and beef jerky, and that was all just in my stocking!
Then, I got new sink tip fly line, a bed quilt with fishes on it... a Pendleton wool scarf, which I adore, and new pajamas with black labs all over them! Still have more to go!
WHEEEEEEEEEEE!

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
I have a wonderful wife, family, and friends.
My life has never been better.
Even the dog seems to smile more that ever.
Life is grand.
That is my present this year. The best ever.
Ho Ho Ho everyone.
Smiling Mark and the unusually happy lab.

I must of been good also, because I opened my first gift and it was a hand made custom built fillet knife (made by Minkoff Astoria, Or). Then I opened my second gift and there was a Calcutta TE. Then with my son returning from Iraq, what a great Christmas. Wow I'm a lucky guy..............Bobber Down

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
I can't even to begin to list how I have been Blessed this year. I am the kind of guy that thinks a new pair of boots is a big deal. I have bought a few things this year, not big things just things I wanted that make life a little more enjoyable. I have a wonderful wife and two great kids. I have been able to earn the money to pay the bills and the health to work through the different weather we have had. I am mostly thankful for the Lords calling in my life.
That is my list.

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
Oh yeah, a couple Thill bobbers and a knot tying book with illustrations large enough for the sight impaired... Now, if only I could use 300 lb test to fish for steelhead, I could see what I am doing!
I am feeling kind of bad/sad right now. I've never missed Christmas with my extended family... ever!
I drove half way up the mountain to go to Wilsonville, and because of the snow, I chickened out. I'm sure I could have made it, but it's supposed to get colder, and I was very afraid of the drive back.
The kids and I ate at the Fern, here in Tillamook. Burgers on Christmas? WEIRD!
I am thankful that my family is safe, but I sure miss my extended family, and I hope they understand... a world traveler, I am not, and snow and icy roads are not my forte'. Here I had all the presents packed, and smoked salmon, and a fruit platter to take. Guess dinner is taken care of!
:depressed: OH well.... There is always next year. Miss you, Daddy!

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
My man handed me my presents in the order that HE wanted me to open them...first up a zebra striped broom What a sense of humor  ...next up was the camo jersey gloves, followed quickly by the thermal socks, waterproof gloves for wrapping decoys, camo mittens that convert to fingerless gloves with a pocket for my hand warmers, a couple of camo head bands, a camo mask (see a trend?) a waterproof hat with built in ear muffs...not bad after the rocky start...but wait there is more! A lovely "tennis" bracelet that he bought at Big Lots...for $1.99 Still more...a couple of hot looking Kwikfish, a waterproof watch and a Starbucks gift card
I am feeling pretty dang special this evening. Not only is he including me but he wants me to be happy and warm which means I will enjoy the trip regardless of the weather
By the way...my vacation started Monday and so far I have been on an elk hunt, duck hunt, steelhead trip and clamming
Happy Holidays!!

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
Santa was good to me. He told me that this is what he gets around the N.W. with. Even in the fog.

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
I got to play tug of war with a bright chinook hen that was around 20#. Since she was gracious enough to offer to play I let her swim free to do her thing.
Got her on three rivers on a pink corky/white yarn and eggs. Also lost one on the dreaded pink worm.(set the hook, dummy)

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
My daughter & son gave me a Big Chief Smoker. I also received an early Xmas gift about 5 weeks ago. Someone told me about a web called ifish.com.

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
I got the same thing I got last year, A wonderful wife and two great kids and a loving family. I got gifts that were wrapped with ribbons and bows this year but I can't remember what they were because I was too busy playing with my gifts from last year. I had one of my best Christmas's ever.

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
Besides the usual stuff, I got a suprise package in the mail a couple of days ago. It was a big manila envelope filled with Glo-Gos from a very generous I-Fisher! You know who you are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And the early christmas present was our new NR sled. Merry Christmas Everyone. MM

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
I get to spend the day with my family, my folks, my sister's family, and grandparents! That's what I got for Christmas, it doesn't get any better than this. Forget fishing for a day!
And most importantly, time in the Word and prayer with my Lord!
SKP

Re: What did you get for Christmas?
My wife let me get an early present, an 18 ft. Smokercraft, used but in good shape. I got a 18 volt Skil Power drill, a warm lined denim shirt, an Indian Motorcycle T shirt (son in law just bought a brand new Indian) and we got a new flat screen Sony TV to watch fishing shows when the rivers are out. We then had to buy a new entertainment center as the TV was a 1/2 inch to wide for the old one.
The most precious gift was the love that the Family exchanged when they all got together for the holiday. All of the grandkids were together and no fighting, just love.
God bless us each and all, especially to all the IFISHERs. May God keep you safe in all that you do.
