Default Naselle R. help

Any tips regarding bank fishing the Naselle would be greatly appreciated. Heading to Ilwaco Sunday for a couple of days.

That's a tough one unless you know the river really well. So much private land to deal with. I fished it tuesday but with someone from that area and he knew his bush's and blackberry tunnels. I could not describe how to get back to where we were in a million years. One thing we did do was stop at bridges and fish below them. One was near town and most others were off Upper Naselle Rd. Good luck fishing and remember it's barbless there.

Thanks Cully, how did you do? When I drove up there at Thanksgiving the river was out but it looked like there was some access for drift fishing/plunking down below town as well. Guess I just need to go do it!

Down below town becomes a lake during high tide... At the highway 4 bridge you can fish and i can't begin to tell you where out tunnels are at in the blackberrys... there was alot of people snagging at the hatchery last time i was down there... Be carefull i know i am not much help but if you PM me i will get back to you...

One wild steelhead buck-released
two dark coho-released all on eggs. I'd go up river.
