Default Coat-it questions ?

What type of conditions do I need to apply this stuff to the bottom of the driftboat I have for sale? How long will it take to dry? I have a 16' boat, will it take a full gallon to do it? Do I have to wait for dry weather of can I do it soon?
thank you in advance for all the info.

The warmer it is, the faster it will dry. It needs to be a DRY surface also. If you are going to do it this time of year, turning the boat over (preferable in a garage) and placing a heater under it to warm the bottom will work best. Make sure to mix the hardner with the other can very well. If you don't get it mixed good, it will never harden. A gallon will be more than you need. I did mine with the smaller size can (quart?).

Dry and warm. With the cool weather it might be summer before it dries! We turned ours over outside in the warm summer air and it was dry in one day. Fish now and Coat-it in the summer.

I applied 1 gallon to the bottom of my 14ft, and I would like to put more on. You need to turn the boat over to coat-it, and needs to be a dry clean surface. I did mine in my garage in Febuary, to do this I had a large propane heater and had it running constant for 3 days. The stuff is a good investment. But rocks will still damage the stuff, its like a tuff skin more than anything else.
