Default Best guide for oversized-sturgeon in June?

Hi guys.

We're going to the Bonneville area for catch and release of sturgeon (oversized) in early June. Who is the absolute most productive guide for that fishery.

Thanks.

P.S. This board is probably the best internet forum I've seen. Keep up the good work.

I thought that I had heard somewhere that Lombard got out of the business.

FYI: I called Mike Lombard's number (an old one?) at <non-sponsor number removed>, and it didn't work. So maybe he is out of the business. I saw a video of him on the Willamette awhile back...seems like a real nice guy, and they caught tons of fish.

Dan Ponciano and Eric Linde are the premier oversize guides, bar none. Top quality tackle and new, clean state of the art boats are a bonus when you fish with either of them.

I haven't fished with Eric for oversized fish, but he is one heck of a nice guy.. and his new North River  should be the coolest thing around.. if history repeats itself!
I just can't wait to see it!

I would also like to add that Dave Johnson guides for the "bigg'uns" and he IS the nicest guy you'll ever meet!

Either one you cant go wrong!

Eric Linde is a great guy to spend the day with and also a grerat sturgeon fisherman. If you can't hook up with him try Sturgeon Frank. Frank Rossum is a good guy also who always catchs fish.

I put a vote in for Dave Maroon's Fishing Adventure's. He is a personal friend. We worked together before he started his business. I have a http:// for him if you want it...
