This time of year I have always picked up a Lingcod or two on the North Jetty of Tillamook Bay. I like to use a 6-8 inch curly tail grub with a 1oz jig head and cast into the rocks and work it back to the boat. Different colors work on different days, but my favorite is a white twin tail grub.

I have never caught any Black Bass of any size inside of the Jetties, but I know of people that have.

There is nothing like some fresh Dungies and some fresh Fish & Chips

.There are some good sea bass to be had, 3-5 lbs off most jetties. Using the curly tail jigs, or even small fish imitations off the bottom work well. We dropshot jigs above a 1 1/2 ounce bank sinker and just jig along the sand/rock line. Lings should be coming in sooon!

Good luck!

do a search for rockfish and you will find many threads. Pay attention to ones authored by 'DepoeBayDan', who is now AKA 'Born to Be Wild' Most folks use the white curl tail worms for lings and sassy shad like jigs for bass.
